Southampton Little Common Working Party

The Common Sense group was formed primarily to get hedging and other overgrown vegetation removed, both to improve safety and the perception of safety along Highfield Road and on Southampton Common and to improve the appearance by restoring the previous parkland grassland setting.

They run a few Working Party sessions during the autumn/winter months.  All volunteers welcome. Tools, safety glasses  and gloves are all provided, but bring your own if you prefer. Drinks will be on hand
